EASY EASY Crock Pot Italian Beef Recipe
We make this a lot in the fall and winter - super easy and everyone loves it so no gripes from the peanut gallery. We use a rump roast for this but other roasts would probably work. YUMMY

Ingredients
  • 3 c water
  • 3 onions (med/medium large)
  • Rump roast
  • 1/2 tsp salt (we use kosher sea salt)
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 boullion cubes or equivalent (we actually use the beef base paste that comes in a jar - 2 TBL or whatever jar says is equivalent to 2 cubes)
  • Crushed red pepper to taste (I use 1/2 tsp but we have spice sensitive people who don't like anything spicy)

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients - crock pot low 6-8 hours or until tender
  2. Eat with hoagie rolls and pickled banana peppers - yuuuummmmmmy!
