Coconut Crab Puffs Recipe
An easy elegant side dish

Ingredients
  • 2 to 3 sheets puff pastry
  • 1 cup crab (fresh or canned)
  • 2 Tbsps. Coconut Rum
  • 1 cup Cream Chesse
  • 5 Tbsps. Coconut (sweet grated)
  • Cinnamon (Pinch)
  • Nutmeg (pinch fresh grated)
  • Oil for frying

Directions
  1. Let the puff pastry come to room temperature - Mix all the ingredients together - Heat oil to frying temp.
  2. Cut pastry into 4 inch squares wrap one tsp of mixture in puff pastry - you can pinch these closed or twist as you would a dim sum - deep fry until golden brown - drain on paper towel.
  3. Serve with a Mango Chutney purchased or make a Mango-Horseradish Sauce recipe to follow.
