Ingredients
  • 6 chops, pork or veal
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onions
  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/4 cups milk

Directions
  1. Rub chops with salt and pepper. Melt butter in skillet, add chops,
  2. brown lightly on both sides. Remove chops and add onions, brown
  3. lightly. Put sliced potatoes in buttered 2 qt baking dish. Arrange
  4. chops over top. Add soup and milk to onions in skillet. Blend until
  5. smooth. Pour over chops. Cover. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Uncover,
  6. bake for 30-40 minutes, until potatoes are done.
