Berry Crumble for Two

- 1/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch shopping list
- table salt shopping list
- 2 cups fresh or frozen thawed berries shopping list
- 1/2 cup unbleached all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 4 Tbsp butter chilled shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 375
- Combine granulated sugar, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt in a medium bown.
- Gently toss with thawed or fresh berries.
- Divide fruit evenly between two 12 oz ramekins.
- Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and a pinch of salt together in a medium bowl.
- Add butter and use your fingers to blend the ingredients until you have dime sized clumps.
- Sprinkle the topping over the berries.
- Place crumbles on a rimmed cookie sheet and bake until filling is bubbly, about 30 minutes.
- Rotate dish half way through baking time.
- Place on wired rack and cool at least 15 minutes before serving.
