How to make it

  • Heat oven to 375
  • Combine granulated sugar, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt in a medium bown.
  • Gently toss with thawed or fresh berries.
  • Divide fruit evenly between two 12 oz ramekins.
  • Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and a pinch of salt together in a medium bowl.
  • Add butter and use your fingers to blend the ingredients until you have dime sized clumps.
  • Sprinkle the topping over the berries.
  • Place crumbles on a rimmed cookie sheet and bake until filling is bubbly, about 30 minutes.
  • Rotate dish half way through baking time.
  • Place on wired rack and cool at least 15 minutes before serving.
