Ingredients

Soak 1 pound of navy beans

10 cups of chicken broth

2 cloves of garlic

2 chopped med

1 Tablespoon of oil

2 4oz cans of sliced green chilies

3 cans of tomato quarters and juice from tomatoe

,2 tsp camino

1 1/2 tsp oregano

1/4 tsp cloves

1/4 tsp cayanne pepper

4 cups of diced cooked chicken

salt to taste

Directions

White Chili

Soak 1 pound of navy beans overnight

drain the next day

Combine beans with 10 cups of chicken broth, 2 cloves of garlic, and 1/2 of the 2 chopped med onions in a large pot and bring to a boil

Reduce heat and simmer until beans are soft ( about 2 hours). Add more broth as necessary.

In a skillet saute second 1/2 of onions in 1 Tablespoon of oil until tender

Add 2 4oz cans of sliced green chilies

3 cans of tomato quarters and juice from tomatoes,2 tsp camino,1 1/2 tsp oregano, 1/4 tsp cloves 1/4 tsp cayanne pepper. Mix thoroughly add to bean mixture.

Add 4 cups of diced cooked chicken and continue to simmer 1 hour. Add salt to taste.

Garnish with cheese and sauted onions. ~enjoy~
