Spicy Bbq Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

2/3 cup of rice wine vinegar

2/3 cup of apple cider vinegar

2 TBS ground corriander

1 TBS allspice

1 tsp ground cloves

2 chipotles and 2 TBS of adobo sauce

3/4 cup of Floridian spiced sugar

1 cup of chopped red onion

2 cloves of chopped garlic

3 TBS olive oil

4 cups of ketchup

1 cup of base cranberry ( see my recipe)

2 TBS Melinda's Naga Jolokia hot sauce

1 cup of water

Directions

Combine vinegar and spices in a small sauce pan and on a medium to high heat bring to a boil. Reduce heat and reduce by 1/4 ( about 10 minutes).

In a soup pan add 3 TBS olive oil and on medium heat saute onion for 5 minutes, add garlic and saute until onion gets translucent. Add sugar and stir every 20 seconds until sugar melts( about 5 minutes). Add the vinegar but pour through a fine meshed sieve. Stir for 30 seconds and add the chipotles, cranberry base, ketchup , water and Melinda's hot sauce. Simmmer for 30 minutes and allow to cool. Puree in a blender.
