Spicy bbq sauce

- 2/3 cup of rice wine vinegar shopping list
- 2/3 cup of apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 2 TBS ground corriander shopping list
- 1 TBS allspice shopping list
- 1 tsp ground cloves shopping list
- 2 chipotles and 2 TBS of adobo sauce shopping list
- 3/4 cup of Floridian spiced sugar shopping list
- 1 cup of chopped red onion shopping list
- 2 cloves of chopped garlic shopping list
- 3 TBS olive oil shopping list
- 4 cups of ketchup shopping list
- 1 cup of base cranberry ( see my recipe) shopping list
- 2 TBS Melinda's Naga Jolokia hot sauce shopping list
- 1 cup of water shopping list
How to make it
- Combine vinegar and spices in a small sauce pan and on a medium to high heat bring to a boil. Reduce heat and reduce by 1/4 ( about 10 minutes).
- In a soup pan add 3 TBS olive oil and on medium heat saute onion for 5 minutes, add garlic and saute until onion gets translucent. Add sugar and stir every 20 seconds until sugar melts( about 5 minutes). Add the vinegar but pour through a fine meshed sieve. Stir for 30 seconds and add the chipotles, cranberry base, ketchup , water and Melinda's hot sauce. Simmmer for 30 minutes and allow to cool. Puree in a blender.
