- 2 whole wheat pita shopping list
- 3 tsp olive oil shopping list
- 1 large garlic clove shopping list
- 6 cups romaine lettuce shopping list
- 1 small english cucumber shopping list
- 1 cup sliced green onions shopping list
- 3/4 cup flat-leafed parsley shopping list
- 1/4 cup mint leaves shopping list
- 3 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup olive oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup lemon juice shopping list
- 1 tsp lemon zest shopping list
- salt & pepper to taste shopping list
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to to 375F.
- Brush both sides of the pita with the 3 tsp olive oil.
- Cut garlic clove in half and rub on the pita.
- Cut into 1/2-inch strips.
- Bake until lightly golden.
- When cooled break into smaller pieces.
- In a large bowl combine lettuce, cucumber, onions, parsley, mint and tomatoes.
- In a small bowl wisk together oil, lemon juice, zest, salt, pepper and cinnamon.
- Drizzle the dressing over salad and gently toss.
- Sprinkle with the pita pieces and serve immediately.
