How to make it

  • Preheat oven to to 375F.
  • Brush both sides of the pita with the 3 tsp olive oil.
  • Cut garlic clove in half and rub on the pita.
  • Cut into 1/2-inch strips.
  • Bake until lightly golden.
  • When cooled break into smaller pieces.
  • In a large bowl combine lettuce, cucumber, onions, parsley, mint and tomatoes.
  • In a small bowl wisk together oil, lemon juice, zest, salt, pepper and cinnamon.
  • Drizzle the dressing over salad and gently toss.
  • Sprinkle with the pita pieces and serve immediately.
