Cathead Biscuits

- 2 C. self-rising flour shopping list
- 1/2 C. lard (or shortening) shopping list
- 3/4 C. buttermilk shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 450 Degrees
- Cut the lard into the flour until it looks like coarse ground cornmeal.
- Add enough of the milk to make the dough pull away from the bowl
- Knead dough (on a floured surface!) about 10 times
- Pinch off dough into 8 pieces
- Roll into biscuits (3/4 inch thick)
- Place on an ungreased baking tin
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and as big as cat heads!
