Smothered Dove

- 6 Doves shopping list
- 6 Tbs. butter shopping list
- 1 1/3 Tbs. flour shopping list
- 1 C. chicken broth shopping list
- 1/4 C. cooking sherry shopping list
- salt & pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 Degrees.
- Melt butter in a skillet.
- Brown the doves in the skillet.
- Transfer doves to a baking dish, breast side down.
- Add flour to the skillet, stir well.
- Slowly add broth, sherry, salt & pepper.
- Blend the sauce well.
- Pour over doves.
- Cover and bake for 1 hour.
