Green Chile Sausage And Potato Caldo

- 1 lbs lean sausage shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups chopped onion shopping list
- 6 green chilies, roasted, peeled, seeded and chopped shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves, diced shopping list
- 2 lbs new potatoes, diced shopping list
- 4 cups chicken broth shopping list
- 6 cups milk shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tbs black peppers shopping list
How to make it
- In a 14-inch Dutch oven or large skillet, brown sausage breaking it up as it cooks. Add onions, and cook until soft. Add chilies, garlic, potates and chicken broth. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Add milk. salt and black pepper, heating slowly until hot.
- Serve with hot bread.
