Cherry Sorbet Recipe
This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Glass Estate in Midlothian, Texas in 1991.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ripe cherries pitted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 small pinch salt

Directions
  1. Blend or process cherries until smooth.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and blend for a few minutes until foamy.
  3. Pour into small containers and freeze.
