Soft Molasses Drops cookies

An age old receipe that many love
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cup shortening shopping list
- 1/2 cup molasses shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
- 3 cups of all=purpose flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup sour cream shopping list
- 2 tsps. baking soda shopping list
- 1 tsp.salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. ground ginger shopping list
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 375 degrees
- ,mix sugar,shortening,molasses and egg.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls about inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake about 8 minutes
- Makes about 5 dozen drops.
- May use self-rising flour,omit baking soda and salt,if you do.
