Chocolate Silk Pie

- 1 baked pie crust shopping list
- 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme shopping list
- 1 cup (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter cubed shopping list
- 2 squares (1 oz each) unsweetened chocolate shopping list
- 2 T strong brewed coffee shopping list
- 1 cup heavy whipping, whipped shopping list
- TOPPING shopping list
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 2 T powdered sugar shopping list
- Extra chocolate chips shopping list
How to make it
- In a heavy saucepan, combine the marshmallow cream, chocolate chips, butter, unsweetened chocolate and coffee; cook and stir over low heat until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Cool. Fold in the whipped cream, then pour into the crust.
- For topping: In a large mixing bowl, beat whipping cream until it begins to thicken. Add powdered sugar; beat until stiff peaks form. Spread over filling. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Sprinkle with extra chocolate chips just before serving.
