How to make it

  • Steam the green beans until tender, about 10 to 15 minutes. Heat the oil in a saute pan and add the almond slivers. Saute over medium heat until lightly browned. about 2 minutes. Add the green beans and butter. Turn of the heat and give it a squeeze of lemon juice. Toss together and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Per Serving: 114 Calories; 7g Fat (2g Sat, 4g Mono, 1g Poly); 4g Protein; 11g Carbohydrate; 5g Dietary Fiber; 5mg Cholesterol; 206mg Sodium.

    Wow, another stand by that I make but have never put lemon juice in them. Will definitely give this a try as this is what we normally have on Thanksgiving.
