Crawfish Dip

- Half cup flour shopping list
- Half cup butter, chopped shopping list
- 1 bell pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped shopping list
- 3 stalks celery, chopped shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1 pound crawfish tails shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
- dab salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter and add flour. Cook, stirring constantly, until you get a good caramel color.
- Add vegetables and saute until tender.
- Add cream of mushroom soup and cook for about 5 minutes. Add crawfish tails and cook for 5 more minutes.
- Add salt and pepper to taste and serve with crackers and chips.
- Note: This will be quite thick, but Charles notes the longer it cooks the more the water will be released and the mixture will become thinner.
