Nectarine Custard Pie

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/3 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg shopping list
- 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 5 nectarines pitted and sliced into wedges shopping list
- 9" unbaked pastry shell shopping list
How to make it
- Combine sugar, flour and nutmeg in a mixing bowl stirring to combine well.
- Stir in the cream to make a thin smooth mixture.
- Arrange nectarine slices attractively in the pastry shell and pour in the liquid mixture.
- Bake at 400 for 50 minutes then turn heat down to 350 and bake 15 minutes longer.
- Cool to room temperature and chill at least 1 hour before serving.
