How to make it

  • Combine sugar, flour and nutmeg in a mixing bowl stirring to combine well.
  • Stir in the cream to make a thin smooth mixture.
  • Arrange nectarine slices attractively in the pastry shell and pour in the liquid mixture.
  • Bake at 400 for 50 minutes then turn heat down to 350 and bake 15 minutes longer.
  • Cool to room temperature and chill at least 1 hour before serving.
