Cuban Burgers With Mojo Sauce

- 1 pound ground beef shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 4 thin slices cooked ham shopping list
- 4 slices provolone cheese shopping list
- 4 rolls or buns split and toasted shopping list
- 2 whole dill pickles sliced horizontally into 8 slices shopping list
- 4 slices red onion shopping list
- 4 slices tomato shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 6 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 1/3 cup orange juice shopping list
- 1/3cup lemon juice shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Combine beef, garlic powder, cumin and 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper.
- Shape into four patties then grill over medium coals for 18 minutes turning once.
- Top each with a slice of ham and cheese then cover and grill 30 seconds to allow cheese to melt.
- Serve on rolls with pickle onion and tomato and drizzled with sauce.
- Cook garlic in olive oil over medium heat until just starting to brown.
- Remove from heat then carefully add orange juice, lemon juice, cumin, salt and pepper.
- Bring to boiling then reduce heat and simmer uncovered 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and cool then whisk before serving.
