How to make it

  • Caramel Fluff
  • In chilled bowl, beat 2 cups chilled whipping cream, 3/4 cup brown sugar (packed) and 1 tsp vanilla until stiff.
  • Served on squares of spice or chocolate cake or use to frost a 10" angel food cake. Sprinkle with shaved chocolate. Chill 1 to 2 hours before serving; refrigerate any leftover cake or fluff.
  • 8 Servings.

  • Almond Fluff
  • In chilled bowl, beat 2 cups chilled whipping cream until stiff. Gently fold in 1/2 cup white creme de cacao.*
  • Serve on slices of angel food cake. Garnish each serving with 1/2 tsp toasted diced almonds.
  • 8 Servings
  • *Or, if desired, omit creme de cacao; while beating cream, gradually add 1/2 cup instant sweetened chocolate drink (dry).

  • Mint fluff
  • In chilled Bowl, beat 2 cups chilled whipping cream until stiff. Gently fold in 1/3 cup green creme de menthe.*
  • Serve on slices of angel food cake. If desired, garnish each serving with a sprig of mint and a maraschino cherry.
  • *Or, if desired, omit creme de menthe; before beating, add 1/2 teaspoon mint extract, 10 drops green food color and 1/4 cup sugar to the whipping cream.

  • Whipped Cream Toppings
  • For 1 cup whipped cream:
  • In chilled bowl, beat 1/2 chp chilled whipping cream and 1 tbsp. granulated or confectioners' sugar until stiff.
  • For 1 1/2 cups whipped cream:
  • In chilled bowl, beat 3/4 cup chilled whipping cream and 2 tbsp granulated or confectioners' sugar until stiff.
  • For 2 1/3 cups whipped cream:
  • In chilled bowl, beat 1 cup chilled whipping cream and 3 tbsp granulated or confectioners' sugar until stiff.
  • Flavored Whipped Creams:
  • For 1 cup whipping cream, add one of the following during the last minute of beating:
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp rum flavoring
  • 1 tsp grated orange peel
  • 1 tsp grated lemon peel
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/4 tsp maple flavoring
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
