Lemon Swirl

This is another Betty Crocker lemony cream cheese frosting. After frosting the cake or cupcakes, I often like to drizzle either lemon sauce or lemon curd sparingly.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg (3oz) cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup soft butter or margarine shopping list
- 4 cups confectioner's sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 2 to 3 tsp grated lemon peel (about 3 tbsp lemon juice) shopping list
How to make it
- Beat all ingredients until frosting is fluffy and of spreading consistency. If necessary, stir in additional lemon juice, 1 tsp at a time.
- Fills and frosts two 8- or 9-inch layers or frosts a 13x9" cake.
