Nut Filling for Danish Pastries

- 1 1/2 cup blanched almonds or hazelnuts shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 3 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 3 x eggs shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 3/4 cup butter, softened shopping list
How to make it
- Grind the blanched almonds or hazelnuts. Add sugar and cinnamon and mix.
- Add butter and mix. Add egg and vanilla and mix. If necessary, thin with a little milk to spreading consistency. Butter may be omitted for a less rich filling.
