Clams And Mussels In Black Bean Sauce

- garlic Sesame sauce (Starport 209)* shopping list
- 2 Tbsp shopping list
- Fermented black beans, dried shopping list
- 6 oz. shopping list
- mussels, 4-5 each shopping list
- 10 oz. shopping list
- Manila clams shopping list
- 1 Tbsp shopping list
- Minced garlic shopping list
- 2 Tbsp shopping list
- vegetable oil or butter shopping list
- 2 stalks shopping list
- green onions shopping list
- 1 smsll shopping list
- Red jalapeno, thinly sliced shopping list
- 1/2 C. shopping list
- white wine or water shopping list
- 3 oz. shopping list
- red onions, sliced about 1/2 C shopping list

How to make it
- Wash and clean mussels and clams drain and set aside.
- Rinse fermented black beans thoroughly to remove salt and pat dry,
- crush the beans slightly with a spoon.
- Slice red onions, and red jalapenos and bias cut green onions to 2” long.
- Heat pan at medium high heat. Add oil or butter, then fermented black beans, and garlic and stir for 15 seconds.
- Add red onions and red jalapenos, stir 10 seconds.
- Add wine or water, clams and mussels, stir well, cover and cook another 1 minute.
- Add in Garlic Sesame Sauce and sauté until all the clams and mussel are opened, discard any unopened shells.
- Serve with rice or garlic bread
- (I still have a difficult time with how to pick these darn clams)
