How to make it
- Mix ice cream, softened butter, sugars, and spices in order listed in a large bowl using an electric hand mixer.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Store in freezer. (Will keep at least 6 months)
- To Serve:
- Place a heaping 2 to 3 tablespoons of the frozen mix in a highball glass or coffee mug.
- Add 1 jigger of rum (1 to 2 oz).
- Fill cup with 8oz boiling water; stir until mixture is melted.
- Top with cinnamon and/or nutmeg.
