Hot Buttered Rum Mix Recipe

How to make it

  • Mix ice cream, softened butter, sugars, and spices in order listed in a large bowl using an electric hand mixer.
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • Store in freezer. (Will keep at least 6 months)
  • To Serve:
  • Place a heaping 2 to 3 tablespoons of the frozen mix in a highball glass or coffee mug.
  • Add 1 jigger of rum (1 to 2 oz).
  • Fill cup with 8oz boiling water; stir until mixture is melted.
  • Top with cinnamon and/or nutmeg.
  • Enjoy!

    Shoveling snow out of the driveway would seem less tedious,if there was a drink made from this waiting at the end of the last fale scoop of snow.

    One blazing fireplace...cup of this wonderful hot buttered rum warming the hands,winter would'nt be so bad.
