Braised Pork Steak With Spanish Rice

- 1-1/2 pounds pork shoulder steak shopping list
- 3/4 cup chopped white onion shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped red pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped yellow pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped celery shopping list
- 2-1/2 cups canned tomatoes shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon paprika shopping list
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 cup uncooked rice shopping list
How to make it
- Wipe meat with damp cloth then cut off fat edging the steaks.
- Brown meat slowly on both sides.
- To skillet add all remaining ingredients except rice and turn heat to low.
- Cover pan and cook 30 minutes then add rice and simmer covered 40 minutes longer.
