Pork Chops With Walnut Sauce

- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter shopping list
- 6 pork chops shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice shopping list
- 1 cup coarsely chopped walnut pieces shopping list
- 3/4 cup heavy cream shopping list
How to make it
- In a skillet heat butter to foaming then add the pork chops. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook just until meat is white or grayish throughout. Remove chops from pan and keep them warm. To the same pan add lemon juice and chopped walnuts. With heat on stir with a wooden spoon scraping up the pan bits and juices and stirring them into the sauce. Add cream stirring continuously to thicken. Remove from heat then add salt and pepper to taste. Coat with sauce and serve immediately.
