Strawberry Freezer Jam Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cups finely mashed or sieved strawberries
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 box powdered pectin
  • 1 cup water

Directions
  1. Combine fruit and sugar.
  2. Let stand about 20 minutes stirring occasionally.
  3. Boil powdered pectin and water rapidly for one minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Add the fruit and stir about one minute.
  6. Pour into jars and cover with lids.
  7. Let stand at room temperatuure from 24 to 48 hours or until jells. Store in freezer.
  8. Once opened, store in refridgerator.
  9. Use within 6 weeks once opened
