Heavenly Green Chile Pineapple Banana Bread

- 1 2/3 cups whole wheat flour shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter, softened shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 cup mashed banana shopping list
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks shopping list
- 3 green chiles, stemmed, seeded and chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup low-fat milk shopping list
- 1 tbs lemon juice shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a loaf pan and set aside. In a small mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl, beat the butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla with an electric mixer until it is fluffy. Slowly add the flour mixture, using the mixer, then add the banana, pineapple chunks, chiles, and milk. Add the lemon juice and walnuts, and mix for a final 30 seconds. Pour the batter in the loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour, making sure not to overcook.
