How to make it

  • In large re-sealable plastic bag,combine brown sugar,mustard,soy sauce and ginger;add the salmon. Seal bag and turn to coat;refrigerate for 30 mins.,turning occasionally.
  • Drain and discard marinade. Place salmon on foil-lined baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Broil 4-6" from theheat or till fish flakes easily with a fork,sprinkling with walnuts during the last 2 mins.of cooking time.

    I made this tonight and it was a BIG hit!! I kind of doubled the marinade recipe and added balsamic vinegar, garlic, and water and when I put the salmon in the oven, I put the marinade in a saucepan and reduced it til it formed a delicious glaze which was scrumptious over the walnut-sprinkled salmon. (Ok, I have to admit that I doubled the amount of walnuts too :)
