Candied Brussels

- 1 box frozen brussel sprouts or 2 cups fresh, trimmed and rinsed shopping list
- 1 1/2 Cups water shopping list
- 3 Tbspns butter shopping list
- 2 Tbspns Granulated sugar shopping list
- ground nutmeg, salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium saucepan over high flame, let the Brussels boil for 10 minutes or until soft.
- Add 1 Tbspn sugar and a dash of ground nutmeg while it's cooking.
- Stir often.
- After 10-15 minutes, or until they're heated through, drain the liquid, put the brussels into a bowl, then put the remaining butter and sugar, topping with more nutmeg, salt and pepper if desired.
- Stir until melted and enjoy.
- You can even leave a little water in there to make a sort of syrup, it's really good.

Although in know this recipe may appear to be strange to some, I have had something similar made with cabbage and it was great. I am sure that this is a FIVE FORKS recipe. Thank you so much for sharing!
