Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a medium saucepan over high flame, let the Brussels boil for 10 minutes or until soft.
  • Add 1 Tbspn sugar and a dash of ground nutmeg while it's cooking.
  • Stir often.
  • After 10-15 minutes, or until they're heated through, drain the liquid, put the brussels into a bowl, then put the remaining butter and sugar, topping with more nutmeg, salt and pepper if desired.
  • Stir until melted and enjoy.
  • You can even leave a little water in there to make a sort of syrup, it's really good.

Although in know this recipe may appear to be strange to some, I have had something similar made with cabbage and it was great. I am sure that this is a FIVE FORKS recipe. Thank you so much for sharing!
