Ingredients
  • 1 skinless, boneless chopped chicken breast half
  • 1/2 c. of chopped onion
  • 2 stalks of chopped celery
  • 1 diced
  • 1/4 c. of butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. of all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. of curry powder
  • 4 c. of chicken broth
  • 1/2 cored and chopped apple
  • 1/4 c. of white rice
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 pinch dried thyme
  • 1/2 c. of heavy cream, heated

Directions
  1. First you wan to saute onions, celery, carrot, and the butter in a large pot over medium flame.
  2. Then you want to add flour and curry and cook 5 min.
  3. Then add in the stock, and mix this well, let boil approx. 30 min.
  4. Now you can add in the apple, rice, chicken, salt, pepper, and the thyme.
  5. Let this simmer approx. 15-20 min. Let rice become tender.
  6. Finally, add hot cream and serve!
