Mulligatawny Soup

- 1 skinless, boneless chopped chicken breast half shopping list
- 1/2 c. of chopped onion shopping list
- 2 stalks of chopped celery shopping list
- 1 diced shopping list
- 1/4 c. of butter shopping list
- 1 1/2 tbsp. of all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. of curry powder shopping list
- 4 c. of chicken broth shopping list
- 1/2 cored and chopped apple shopping list
- 1/4 c. of white rice shopping list
- ground black pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 pinch dried thyme shopping list
- 1/2 c. of heavy cream, heated shopping list
How to make it
- First you wan to saute onions, celery, carrot, and the butter in a large pot over medium flame.
- Then you want to add flour and curry and cook 5 min.
- Then add in the stock, and mix this well, let boil approx. 30 min.
- Now you can add in the apple, rice, chicken, salt, pepper, and the thyme.
- Let this simmer approx. 15-20 min. Let rice become tender.
- Finally, add hot cream and serve!
