Blackened Shrimp Steak and Andouille Sausage Penne Saute

- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 8 shrimp , peeled and deveined shopping list
- 1/2 pound diced beef tenderloin shopping list
- 1/2 of an andouille sausage, diced shopping list
- 3 pieces smoked bacon, cooked and diced shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of minced garlic shopping list
- 2 tablespoons minced shallots shopping list
- 1 cup good white wine shopping list
- 12 asparagus spears, blanched shopping list
- 2 tablespoons Blackening season shopping list
- 24 oz. heavy cream shopping list
- 5 oz. shredded asiago cheese shopping list
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions shopping list
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley shopping list
- 1 cup penne, cooked al dente, chilled shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- In a large hot skillet add the olive oil
- Add beef, and andouille, saute 2 minutes
- Add shrimp and blackening season, garlic and shallots
- Saute 2 minutes and deglaze pan with wine, reduce by half
- Add heavy cream, bring to a boil
- Add remaining ingredients except cheese and pasta
- When slightly reduced add cheese and pasta and toss together
