- 31/2 cups penne shopping list
- 3 tbsp butter shopping list
- 2 tbsp flour shopping list
- 1 cup chicken broth shopping list
- 3/4 cup milk shopping list
- 3/4 cup grated sharp cheddar shopping list
- 1/4 cup grated real parmesan cheese (can use fake stuff....its just not as good!!!) shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/8 tsp paprika shopping list
- pinch black pepper shopping list
- 2 cups broccoli florets shopping list
- 1 cup diced red pepper shopping list
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 3/4 cup green onion shopping list
How to make it
- Cook pasta and drain
- As pasta cooks melt 2 tbps buuter in medium saucepan then add flour and stir until blended.
- Add chicken broth and milk and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil and thickens
- Reduce heat to low
- Stir in cheese, salt, paprika and pepper until cheese is melted
- In large skilled melt last tbsp butter over med heat.
- Add broccoli, red pepper, mushrooms and onion and cook for 2 minutes stirring constantly.
- Stir into drained past and sauce
