White Chocolate Bread Pudding new Orleans

- 3 cups whipping cream shopping list
- 10 oz white chocolate shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 whole eggs shopping list
- 8 egg yolks shopping list
- 1 loaf of French bread- sliced into 1/4 inch slices and dried in the oven shopping list
- Optional Garnish: shopping list
- 2 Tbs chocloate shavings shopping list
- White choclate sauce( see recipe ) shopping list
- Berry wine sauce shopping list

- 8 oz whitew choclate shopping list
- 3 oz heavy cream shopping list
How to make it
- Heat cream in a double boiler
- melt chocolate in the cream and whisk smooth
- In another double boiler, heat the eggs, yolks, milk and sugar and whisk smooth until warm- do not boil
- Blend egg mixture gradually in the warm milk mixture
- Place bread in a 9 x 13 pan.
- Pour over half of the chocolate mixture and let bread soak up mixture
- Then pour on remaining mixture, making sure bread is covered and soaked well
- Cover pan with foil
- Bake in a 275F ( yes) oven for 1 hour
- Remove foil and bake an additional 15 mins or so until top gets browned a bit
- Remove from oven to cool
- Make the sauce: Melt white chocolate and cream in a doble boiler and whisk smooth.
- Place berry sauce on a plate
- Lay on a piece of warm bread pudding
- Pour chocolate sauce over pieces of pudding
- Garnish with shaving of white or dark chocolate if desired
- Note: pudding may be frozen, reheats well
