Mexican Beef and Bean Casserole

- 1 lb lean ground beef, cooked and drained shopping list
- 1 can chili beans in sauce shopping list
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed shopping list
- 1 can tomato sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup chunky salsa (whatever heat you like, I use medium) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon chili powder shopping list
- 2 cups shredded cheese (whatever you like, I use pepper jack or mexican blend) shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 350
- Mix beef, beans, tomato sauce, salsa and chili powder and pour into 2 quart casserole
- Cover and bake 40 - 45 minutes, stirring once or twice, until hot and bubbly.
- Sprinkle with cheese. Bake uncovered about 5 minutes more or until cheese is melted.
