Turkey Burgers with Spinach and Feta

- 1/2 red onion, chopped shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped shopping list
- 1T butter shopping list
- 1T olive oil shopping list
- 1 pkg(10 ounces) frozen spinach, defrosted and squeezed dry shopping list
- 1t oregano shopping list
- 1/2C feta crumbles shopping list
- 11/3lb ground turkey shopping list
- 1T grill seasoning shopping list
- 4 buns shopping list
- Mayo, lettuce, tomato, cucumbers shopping list
How to make it
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1T of olive oil and 1T of butter. When butter melts, add the chopped garlic and chopped red onion and cook 5 minutes. Transfer the onions and garlic to a bowl to cool. Return pan to heat.
- Add the spinach to the onions, garlic and season with the 1t of oregeno.
- Add in feta crumbles then turkey, grill seasoning and a drizzle of olive oil.
- Mix and form into 4 patties, 1 inch thick.
- Raise heat on pan to medium-high. Add patties and cook 6 minutes on each side.
- Serve on warmed or toasted buns with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers.

I made these and they are great. I only cooked one and froze the rest. Then I cooked a frozen one and it was just as good as the non frozen. It is a great recipe.
