Marinated Pineapple

- 2 fresh pineapples, peeled,cored and cut into bite-sized chunks. shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1/2 cup orange liqueur or orange juice shopping list
- 1/2 cup lime juice shopping list
- 1 tbs grated orange peel shopping list
How to make it
- Place pineapple in large heatproof bowl.
- In small saucepan, combine sugar and water.
- Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally; cook 1 minute
- Stir in liquer, lime juice and peel.
- Pour over pineapple toss to mix
- Refrigerate covered, 1-2 hours,stirring occasionally.
- Serve cold with wooden picks.
- VARIATION: Six cups of assorted fruit can be substituted for the pineapple, such as strawberries, grapes and orange segments.
