Sausage and Spinach in Sweet Soy Sauce

- 4 big sausages ( thinly sliced diagonally ) shopping list
- 2 finger chilies ( chopped ) shopping list
- 2 cloves of garlic ( minced ) shopping list
- 1 sweet onion ( sliced ) shopping list
- 1 bunch of fresh spinach shopping list
- 2 Tbsp sweet soy sauce shopping list
- 1 Tbsp rice wine shopping list
- cooking oil shopping list
- toasted garlic bits shopping list
How to make it
- Cut the spinach into two-inch lengths. Separate the stalks from the leaves because you will add them consecutively in stir frying.
- Heat the cooking oil in a skillet, Saute the garlic and onions.
- Add the chilies and continue sauteing for about a minute.
- Add the sausages and cook until lightly browned.
- Pour in the sweet soy sauce. Stir until it caramelize.
- Pour in the rice wine. Stir well.
- Add the spinach`s stalks first. Cover the pan until they start to soften.
- Then add the spinach`s leaves. Cover again until the leaves start to wilt.
- Serve hot. Sprinkle toasted garlic bits on top.
