How to make it

  • Combine meat, bread crumbs, barbeque sauce, egg and salt then blend well.
  • Pat meat mixture into rectangle on foil or waxed paper.
  • Combine cheddar, bread crumbs, green pepper and water and pat mixture over meat.
  • Roll up roll fashion starting at the narrow end then chill several hours or overnight.
  • Slice into 6 servings and bake in a shallow casserole at 350 for 30 minutes then serve hot.

    I made this today for lunch. It was very good, cheap, and easy! I would add one more tablespoon of BBQ sauce, though.
