Mac And Cheese The Best

The best mac and cheese i have had. i mean it is soo good that i have had it 3 times in the last 3 weeks. goes great with my meat loaf recipe
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon chopped onion shopping list
- 4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup flour shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 4 oz American cheese shopping list
- 1/4 cup cubed or little less 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese shopping list
- 1/4 cup cubed or 4 oz medium cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- pinch pepper shopping list
- 1 cup elbow macaroni pasta shopping list
How to make it
- First start the macaroni, while that is going
- preheat oven to 400
- saute onion in butter until translucent
- stir in flour until fully mixed cook for 2 minutes
- slowly stir in milk
- stir in cheeses,salt, and pepper
- continue to cook on medium heat, always stirring until thick.
- if it seems too thick add a little more milk in but not too much
- add in macaroni in and mix
- put the mix in a casserole dish and bake for 20 mins
