Thick Base Pizza W-great Toppings

- 1 kg of 00 flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon of salt shopping list
- 16 grams of dried yeast shopping list
- 1 cup of warm water shopping list
- 2 cups + more warm water shopping list
- 1 teaspoon castor sugar shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- Toppings depend on your taste. shopping list
- I use the following: shopping list
- 3 sachets of tomatoe paste (1 x 50g for each pizza) shopping list
- or 2 Tablespoons each pizza shopping list
- The following is for the 3 pizzas shopping list
- Shredded ham to suit (400g) or more shopping list
- 24 Sliced olives shopping list
- 1 tin 500g Champignons sliced thinly shopping list
- 1 tin 500g crushed pineapple shopping list
- 500g Stick of Hot pepperoni sliced thinly and halved shopping list
- 1 Large white onion sliced thinly and cut in half shopping list
- 1 green pepper, remove seeds and slice pepper about 3 to 4mm thick shopping list
- 1 tea spoon oregano shopping list
- 1 tea spoon basil shopping list
- Shredded Mozzaerlla cheese to cover toppings shopping list
- Scatter Parmeson cheese thinly over the top shopping list
How to make it
- With 1cup of warm water, add to breakfast cereal bowl.
- Add the Castor sugar and stir in
- Add the yeast and stir in
- Allow to stand in a warm place to double in size
- While this is happening:
- Sift the 1kg of flour into a large bowl
- Make a well in the centre and sprinkle salt all over
- Now with the yeast doubled in size, place in well and mix
- Add warm water ( probably nearly 2 cups) till you get a pliable mixture
- Kneed the dough for about 10 minutes or till nice and flexible.
- Roll into a round ball.
- Olive oil a large dish and place dough into dish.
- Cover dish and leave in warm place for 30m till dough has doubled in size.
- lightly Punch down dough
- Roll out to a sausage roll shape and divide into 3
- Sprinkle flour onto board ready for rolling out dough.
- Roll out dough to 3mm thick to fit 13" pizza tray. Put tray over rollout to see if it fits.
- Place dough onto olive oiled pizza tray
- trim off excess dough
- Now the Toppings: (leaving edge of pastry clean)
- With the sachet of tomatoe paste, cover all the pizza base
- Apply Shredded ham to lightly cover pizza
- Sprinkle oregano
- Sprinkle basil
- Place Hot pepperoni over pizza
- Add Champignons to suit
- Add onions thinly
- Add green pepper
- Add sliced olives
- Add crushed pineapple
- Add sprinkling of oragano
- Add Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Add a sprinkling of Parmeson Cheese
- With oven at preheated 220c add pizza for about 20min, keep a check by looking at pizza
