How to make it

  • 1. soak semolina and black raisin with milk for one hour.
  • 2 . preheat the oven to 180 o c ..Grease the round cake tin line the base with greaseproof paper.
  • butter ,sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl and beat until light and fluffy .Gradually beat in eggs mix until fluffy . fold in the soak ingredient follow by the sifted flour with baking powder. Mix well with wooden spoon
  • 4. pour mixture into the grease round cake tin and bake for 1 hour or until cake is cooked when tasted with a skewer .
  • frosting
  • mix icing sugar and egg white till smooth and spreading consistency .If you need a stiffer icing ,add extra icing sugar.
  • just pour on the cake....
