Ingredients

How to make it

  • Using a citrus juicer of your choice, squeeze lime juice, including meat, from one lime.
  • Pour juice (dividing meat equally) into ice cube trays.
  • Note how many cubes are filled by one lime. You should only have to do this step once.
  • Repeat juicing and pouring process with all limes.
  • Place trays in freezer, allowing cubes to completely freeze.
  • Pop lime cubes out of trays and store in a bag in the freezer. Make sure to label the bag with how many cubes you need to equal juice of one lime.
  • Whenever you need lime juice for beverages (especially real margaritas) or cooking, use them frozen, or thaw then use.

I agree, what a great idea. Too often I have limes & lemons go bad in the fridge before I can use them up. This will certainly fix that problem. Thanks & 5 forks

I like using them over bottled lime juice, and when I have multiple cocktails in an evening (sometimes it is just necessary!) one cube is good for two or three drinks.
