How to make it

  • Prepare cake mix as directed on box.
  • For 13"x9" Pan:
  • Pour batter into pan.
  • Dollop jam on top and swirl with a knife.
  • Bake as directed.
  • Top with berries and buttercream frosting.
  • For 2 8" Pans:
  • Divide batter evenly among pans and bake as directed.
  • Allow cakes to cool completely and remove from pans.
  • Spread jam on bottom layer and top with second cake.
  • Frost with buttercream and top with berries.
  • To Prepare Frosting:
  • Spoon marshmallow fluff into a large bowl, beating on low. Gradually add butter pieces, beating well until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and stir well, scraping the sides of the bowl. Add more sugar, if necessary.
