    Waste of time and ingredients. The cake was tough and flavorless, and the 'frosting' was really just glaze. I don't know what the other people one the comments were eating, but it wasn't this. I was left disappointed.

    Thank you! I've had the same reaction to mug cakes, and you've nailed it. I can report that it's very good with peanut butter instead of hazelnut spread (which I'm out of, darn it). Thanks so much for the fix!

    If you like Mexican chocolate, just add 1/4 tsp of ground cinnamon to this recipe.

    If you like mocha, use coffee instead of the milk, either in the cake or the frosting or both.
