Whole Wheat Spaghetti With Swiss Chard Sauce

- 1 package whole wheat spaghetti shopping list
- 1 bunch red swiss chard leaves washed and chopped into 1/2 inch wide strips shopping list
- 1 white onion chopped shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic sliced shopping list
- 2 anaheim peppers chopped shopping list
- 3 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 1 teaspoon paprika shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed pepper shopping list
- 2 fresh tomatoes diced shopping list
- 2 tablespoons yogurt shopping list
- 1/2 cup coarsely crushed walnuts shopping list
- 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Cook spaghetti in salted water according to the instructions on the package.
- In a big pot heat the oil.
- Saute onion, garlic and pepper for 5 minutes until onions are soft.
- Add paprika then Swiss chard.
- Cook for 8 minutes until the water is almost soaked.
- Add yogurt and stir for 1 minute.
- Add tomato, black pepper, crushed pepper and salt.
- Simmer until tomatoes look cooked
- Mix sauce with spaghetti in a casserole dish.
- Sprinkle crushed walnuts over evenly then top with grated cheddar cheese.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375 until cheese melts and is slightly brown.
