How to make it

  • If usiing fresh onion and garlic dice them first
  • In a large skillet cook ground beef with onion flakes, salt, pepper, spanish rice seasoning, garlic and chili powder, ( I eyeball the chili powder till the meat has a slight tinge of color to it.)
  • Drain the ground beef when there is still a little but of pink
  • Return ground beef to the skillet, and turn to medium high heat
  • I usually add extra chili poweder, garlic, and Spanish rice seasoning
  • Start to spoon in Picante Sauce to where it causes the pan to crackle
  • Stir beef and keep adding Picante sauce allowing the extra liquid to evaporate
  • Simmer untill all the liquid from the Picante sauce is about gone
  • Pile on tacos, nachos, or whatever else you might want taco meat for
