How to make it

  • Heat a little oil in saucepan on medium heat add garlic fennel seeds & chilli flakes fry until garlic has coloured a little & seeds are toasted add chorizo fry for another minute or so.
  • Add tinned tomatoes stir around turn heat down to simmer leave sauce to thicken for about 25 mins.
  • Add butterbeans to sauce turn heat up add salt and pepper & serve

    OMG, this sounds SO delicious, and who woulda thunk cassoulet could come right out of the cupboard in one hour? Question - here in the States, beans usually come in 439g tins (or, as we say, 15.5 oz. cans). Is that the same size you're using? How about for the tomatoes? Thanks.
