Chicken in Sour Broth

- 2-1/2 pound chicken fryer cut up shopping list
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 clove garlic minced shopping list
- 2 medium fresh tomatoes sliced shopping list
- 1 medium white onion thinly sliced shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 5 cups water shopping list
- 6 pieces medium tamarind shopping list
- 10 red radishes shopping list
- 1/2 pound fresh spinach shopping list
- 3 green onions shopping list
How to make it
- Sauté garlic, onion and tomatoes in hot oil in large saucepan.
- Add chicken and cook stirring for 10 minutes or until chicken colors slightly.
- Add salt, pepper, fish sauce, tamarind and water.
- Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.
- Add radishes and cook 5 minutes then add spinach and green onions.
- Cover and remove from heat then serve hot.
