How to make it

  • If using uncooked sausage links, cook per normal cooking time and allow to cool prior to rolling each link in a crescent roll. Roll so that the long point of the wrapper ends up on the outside of the "piggie".
  • “Smokee Links” – which are approximately same in size as sausage links – are fully cooked and therefore can be wrapped without precooking.
  • Bake wrapped sausage links per crescent roll package directions until rolls are a nice golden brown.
  • Meanwhile, combine dip ingredients; refrigerate until needed.
  • Serve piggies with spicy avocado dip and salsa, if desired
  • NOTE: Serve as a side with eggs and potatoes... another great “breakfast-for-dinner idea”!!
