Strawberry Rhubarb Salad

This is an amazing recipe. I got this from my mother's collection. This was a mandatory dish on our Easter and Christmas tables. Enjoy
Ingredients
- 3 cups rhubarb diced shopping list
- 3 small packages strawberry gelatin shopping list
- 1 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 3 cups boiling water shopping list
- 20 ounces frozen strawberries thawed shopping list
- 3 ounces cream cheese softened shopping list
- 1 package Dream Whip shopping list
How to make it
- Cook rhubarb and sugar until it becomes sauce.
- Prepare gelatin according to package directions using a total of 3 cups boiling water.
- Add rhubarb mixture and strawberries to gelatin mixture and put in glass rectangular pan.
- Chill until firm then prepare dream whip according to package directions.
- Blend in softened cream cheese and spread over gelatin.
- Chill slightly and serve.
