Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cook tortellini in a large pot, follow directions depending on whether you're using fresh or frozen pasta, drain, set aside
  • Fry the bacon in a large saucepan, drain all the grease off as well as possible, break or chop into small pieces, set aside
  • In the saucepan over medium heat, combine cheeses, broth, garlic, , stir until bubbly
  • Add peas and bacon, mix well, bring back to a simmer for about 5 minutes
  • If the sauce seems too thick add a little more broth or milk if you like
  • Add the tortellini, mix well, cook 2-3 minutes more, remove from heat
  • Serve with garlic bread and a greens salad.

I'm not much of a ginger fan and was gonna leave it out, but the rest looks yummy. I recently made alfredo sauce for the first time. Not sure why it took me so long. My friend is a chef and said it was really easy to make. He was right. Welcome to the group.
